Precious Pomskies in Topeka, Kansas, and Pure Pomskies in Tulare, California are two examples of endorsed breeders by the Pomsky Club of America. The organization endorses breeders that meet the standards of Pomsky breeding it describes.
A Pomsky is a hybrid of the Pomeranian and the Siberian Husky. The hybrid is a fairly new designer dog, so breeders are still working on a standard appearance. Most Pomsky enthusiasts gravitate toward the look of the Siberian Husky but smaller in size. The hybrid breed typically weighs in between 20 and 30 pounds and has a lifespan between 12 and 15 years. Pomskies are not recognized by the American Kennel Club, but this is an eventual goal of the Pomsky Club of America.
