The Queen Elizabeth pocket beagle, simply known as the queen's beagle, is a small breed available in two varieties: standard and miniature. The standard version is 9 to 13 inches in height and 12 to 20 pounds in weight, while the miniature breed is approximately half that size.
The queen's beagle features a well-proportioned body and is reminiscent of other breeds of beagle, although a portion of its beagle heritage is diminished. This breed is friendly and more sedentary compared to other dogs and lacks a strong hunting instinct. Curious, gentle and intelligent, the queen's beagle is good around children and other pets.
