The kangaroo has a few predators including the dingo, humans, foxes and eagles. It should be noted, however, that it is only baby kangaroos that are eaten by foxes and eagles.
The kangaroo is fairly high on the food chain, so it is rarely in danger. It is also adept at hiding because it lives in only a few areas that it knows well. The kangaroo typically lives within a home range of no more than four square miles. These more remote home areas also help to keep the kangaroo away from the large majority of predators that would otherwise be able to attack and harm the kangaroo.
