Make dog treats with 3/4 cup of chicken broth, 3 cups whole wheat flour, 1/4 cup of lukewarm water, 1 teaspoon dry yeast and 1 tablespoon of garlic. Also add 1 tablespoon of parsley, 1 1/2 tablespoons of honey and 1 egg. Shape and bake the treats.
After mixing the yeast into the water, add the garlic and parsley. Next add the broth, honey and egg, followed by the flour. Knead the dough, roll it out to 1/4 inch thick, use a cookie cutter to cut the treats into shapes, and then bake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes or until the treats are evenly golden brown. Let cool for at least 2 hours before allowing the pet to try one.
