Major products imported by Iraq include medicine, food and manufactured goods. An estimated 62.34 USD billion accounted for total expenditures in imported commodities in 2014, reports Central Intelligence Agency's World Factbook.
In 2013, the top five exporters to Iraq are Turkey, China, Syria, the United States and South Korea. Turkey accounted for 25.4 percent of all imported articles, while China, Syria, the U.S. and South Korea were at 15.5 percent, 14.3 percent, 4.6 percent and 4.4 percent, respectively. In 2012, automobiles made up the largest bulk of imported products at 5.15 percent. Other commodities imported by Iraq included raw iron bars, refined petroleum, raw sugar, wheat, rice, insulated wire, vegetable and seed oils, iron pipes and structures, poultry meat and eggs.
