What Happened in the Rachael Ray Dog Food Recall?

There have been no recalls for "Rachael Ray," "Nutrish" or "Ainsworth" products in the FDA recall database since 2008. Regulators continue to monitor Rachael Ray dog food and will alert the public of any future concerns.

DogFoodAnalysis.com issued their opinion, on July 19, 2009, that Rachel Ray dog food appeared to be a very low-quality dog food that contained equally low-grade ingredients; they indicated that the product would never receive anything higher than a two-star rating. Customer reviews of the product, as well as their concerns over the recall status, cited the following conditions/ailments their pets experienced after eating Rachael Ray dog food: extreme diarrhea, bloody stools, kidney stones, vomiting, fever, focal seizures and death.
