A cross between a Great Dane and an American pit bull terrier may be called a Great Danebull. Great Danebulls are very large dogs, standing around 27 inches tall and weighing as much as 100 pounds.
They have short coats that come in a wide variety of colors. Their ears hang down but are smaller and lower than an uncropped Great Dane's ears. The tail resembles that of a Great Dane. Great Danebulls are said to be friendly, cheerful and loyal. They are also generally good with kids. Great Danebulls do need sufficient exercise, including long daily walks. Because of their size, they generally do better in a good-sized home with a yard.
