What Eats Wolverines?

Natural predators of the wolverine include the mountain lion, wolf and bear. Humans are also a natural predator of the wolverine as large game hunters enjoy hunting the wolverine for sport.

Wolverines live in tundra and forest areas of Europe, North America and Asia. Although the wolverine resembles a bear, it is actually the largest member of the weasel family.

Wolverines will eat some berries and plants, but they prefer to hunt for sources of meat. Wolverines will eat rabbits and other small game, and they will even take advantage of left over remains from the carcasses of larger prey.
