A variety of animals eat mice, including snakes, skunks, dogs, cats, hawks and owls. A family of barn owns is capable of eating 12 mice in 1 night. Predators of mice depend largely on where the mice live.
Mice are native to Central Asia and tend to live wherever they can find a ready source of food. They built nests near human populations and in homes and other buildings. They need very little water, and they will eat nearly any food that they can find. The lifespan of the mouse is around 1 year, although mice in captivity can live up to 3 years.
