To make the healthy pumpkin balls, preheat the oven to 350 F, and combine 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin, 4 tablespoons of molasses, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and 4 tablespoons of water in a large mixing bowl.
Mix well and slowly add in 2 cups of whole wheat flour, 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir until the dough becomes soft. Scoop and roll out pieces of dough into small balls. Place the pumpkin balls on a lightly greased baking sheet, and flatten using a fork. Bake for 25 minutes or until the dough hardens.
To make Martha Stewart's healthy dog biscuits, preheat the oven to 400 F. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup of wheat germ, 1/4 cup of brewer's yeast and 1 teaspoon of salt. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface, and cut in desired shapes and sizes. Place cut-out dough on a parchment lined baking sheet, and bake for 10 minutes.
