The lion cut trims the fur short all over except on the head and neck, giving the impression of a mane. The teddy bear cut makes the dog's face look like a teddy bear. A Mohawk extending down the dog's back is produced by shaving the rest of the dog.
A lamb cut is intended to make the dog look like a cute lamb. The continental cut is the traditional poodle clip, with pom-poms on the hips and legs, full fur on the chest and shaved almost to the skin in between the fluffy parts. Dogs with long hair on the face and head can have braids and top-knots placed to emphasize the face.
