Cockatoos enjoy fruit, including apples, bananas, blackberries, figs, cherries, grapes and melon. They also eat vegetables, including broccoli, cauliflower and cucumber. Nuts that cockatoos like, provided with or without a shell, include almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, pecans, cedar nuts and pine nuts.
