There are three different types of bulldogs referred to as "Victorian Bulldogs." The Mollett Victorian Bulldog was developed in the United Kingdom in the 1980s. The Victorian Bulldogge, or Olde Victorian Bulldogge, was developed by Carlos Wood in the late 1980s and early 1990s. There are other dogs being called Victorian Bulldogs that seem to be unrelated to either the Mollett or the Wood bulldogs. All of the Victorian Bulldogs are efforts to re-create a bulldog breed that resembles the type of bulldog available in the Victorian era.
