Where Can You Find a Library of North American Bird Sounds?

The Cornell Lab of Ornithology provides an online archive of wildlife sounds that includes a bird sound collection for North America. Xeno Canto is another online archive where users can share bird sounds from around the world.

The Cornell Guide to Bird Sounds features over 195,000 ornithology recordings collected by 300 recordists throughout North America. The archive has a sound collection from over 700 bird species.

The Xeno Canto sound archive is a collaborative project. Its online website is the result of scientists, researchers and bird-lovers collecting and sharing bird sounds. Users can search sounds according to their preferred world region or bird species or upload their own sound files to the database.
