Siberian husky-Pomeranian mixes, also known as Pomskies, are generally smaller like Pomeranians and can have physical characteristics and personality traits of either huskies or Pomeranians. These dogs are crosses between two arctic breeds, so have very thick coats that require daily brushing.
Pomskies can inherit common husky traits, such as intelligence and mischievousness, and common Pomeranian traits, such as playfulness and stubbornness. As of 2015, this designer dog breed is relatively new, so information about common health aliments for the breed is not available.
Because Pomskies are designer dogs, most owners buy them as puppies from the breeders, and few are available for adoption in shelters. Because of the high demand, most owners pay more than $1,000 for a Pomsky puppy.
