Private sellers, including established AKC breeders, and non-profit organizations in the United States often offer French bulldog puppies for sale or adoption. French bulldog puppies are usually sold or available for adoption when they are eight weeks old.
The website for French Bulldog Breeders of America provides a list of breeders across several states, including Alabama, Michigan, New York and Wisconsin. A breeder accepted by the FBDCA must be a member of the club for a minimum of three years and have successfully bred at least one Conformation Champion French bulldog.
French bulldog puppies are sometimes available for adoption from non-profit organizations such as the Boston Terrier and French Bulldog Rescue in New York or SNORT Rescue in New Jersey. Many non-profit organizations charge between $100 and $400 for French bulldog puppies up for adoption, dependent upon the age of the puppy, sex and additional factors.
