Brown Siberian husky puppies have a base brown color with banding on each individual hair. The result is called sable or agouti depending on the base shade of brown. Sable dogs have a reddish-brown base; agouti dogs have a brown or brownish-black base.
Most Siberian huskies have white paws and legs, facial markings and tail tips. When these markings occur in an agouti dog, they are usually cream rather than white. Siberian Huskies are also found in black and white, copper and white, gray and white, and pure white. The American Kennel Club permits all colors except merle. The eyes of Siberian huskies can be brown, amber, green or blue.
