According to reviews from Consumer Reports and Consumer Affairs, Wolf appliances do not have a solid reputation overall. Based on 26 ratings placed with Consumer Affairs as of 2015, Wolf cooking appliances averaged 1 1/2 stars.
Several different issues have come up with Wolf cooking appliances for customers. One person reported that the self-cleaning cycle ended up chipping the porcelain on the oven floor, exposing the metal beneath. Another consumer who purchased the model with six burners and a griddle found that the burners heat the sides of the pot too much but do not heat the center adequately. The oven would also bang loudly while cooling down, which was a concern. Consumer Reports reviewed two new pro-style ranges in June 2013 but found neither of them to be impressive.
