Senseon technology is a feature developed by Whirlpool that aims to speed up the process of drying clothes. The main purpose of this technology is to shorten the average time it takes to dry a load of laundry, to match it more closely with the time clothes take to wash.
Senseon dryers contain moisture sensing strips that automatically determine when clothes are dry, eliminating the need to set a timer. The technology also comes with a "Thermister" to monitor dryer temperature throughout the cycle and ensure that just the right amount of heat is pumped into the load. Both of these features are intended to decrease the average dry time of a load of laundry to around 30 minutes while helping to eliminate over-drying and shrinkage.
