Gather your dark clothes into a pile, and read the tags. Separate the pile into smaller piles according to recommendations from the manufacturers.
Turn all pants, blouses and shirts inside out.
Place the machine-washable pile into the washing machine, and then add the detergent according to the instructions on the bottle.
Wash the clothes in a cold, short and gentle cycle.
Hang the clothes to dry for best results, but use a low-heat setting if you use the dryer.
