What Is Vikrell?

Vikrell is a composite material made by Sterling and the Kohler Company for use in bathroom and kitchen products. It is comprised of resin, filler and fiberglass. Vikrell is exclusive to the Kohler Company.

Kohler and Sterling designed Vikrell to be molded in large presses that then form wall and bath surrounds. The material is relatively lightweight and maneuverable. It has a non-porous surface designed for easy cleaning. Vikrell products can be installed easily by snapping the tongues and grooves together.

Customers have a variety of color and finishes to choose from when purchasing Vikrell products. Vikrell is available in white, biscuit, almond, almond granite and gray granite shades. Both high gloss and swirl gloss finishes are available. High gloss is designed not to fade over time, while swirl gloss is designed to hide any minor scratches that may occur.

Products that are made of Vikrell include bathtubs and shower stalls, whirlpools, shower bases and utility, kitchen, and bathroom sinks.

Vikrell products come with a 10-year consumer limited warranty as well as a three-year commercial warranty for bathroom sinks and bathing fixtures. The kitchen sinks made with Vikrell have a lifetime limited consumer warranty along with a three-year limited commercial warranty.
