Place the Swiffer WetJet on the area that you want to clean, and press the button near the crown of the handle for about three seconds. Then push the pad back and forth on the area. Repeat the process until the whole floor is cleaned.
If you are using the Swiffer WetJet for the first time, begin by assembling the sections of the WetJet. To assemble the handle, line up the holes with the pins before sliding the two pole sections together until the parts click. Then open the battery compartments, and insert four AA batteries. Replace the compartment door to hold the batteries in place.
Load the premixed cleaning solution that comes in plastic containers. Place the bottle upside down in the cleaner compartment. If placed correctly, the container should not move in the compartment.
Before using your WetJet, always vacuum or sweep the floor to remove dirt, and check the pad and cleaner to ensure the unit is ready. Replace the pad when it gets dirty. Flipping the mop head allows the scrubbing strip to touch the floor, removing tough spots.
The WetJet solution is safe on hard-surface floors that are sealed. However, using the solution on other surfaces can result in damage to the floor.
