Outdoor laser lights are used for ambient lighting for parties, holidays or general lighting decor. They generally come in projector encasements with a ground stake installation and feature laser lights in different colors and intensity. The projector lights can be static or animated to create the illusion of falling snow or cascading stars.
In order to use laser lights, choose the desired outdoor area and the preferred model, color and design. Different companies offer choices online from websites such as LaserandLights.com, HolidayOutdoorLasers.com and Blisslights.com. The laser lights feature different color and pattern options and the outdoor lights can be used indoors also.
For ground stake installation, tap the stake into the ground and attach the laser encasement to the top of the stake. Plug in the cord, and installation is complete.
When using outdoor laser lights, choose a focal point such as an outdoor dining area, a tree or structure and determine the lighting effect based on the distance of the light. The closer the light, the more concentrated the laser light designs. One laser light unit can cover the entire front of a home if installed at a proper distance. As a general guide, the light covers a 30-foot by 30-foot area at a distance of 10 feet from the focal area.
