Use four 1-inch by 4-inch wooden boards to construct a 21-inch wide by 54-inch long toe-kick box. Cut the boards to length, and drill them together with screws.
Center the toe-kick box in the base outline. Install the box with L-shaped brackets by drilling the screws into the grout lines on the floor.
Align the first cabinet on top of the toe-kick box so that the cabinet lines up with the original marks. Screw the cabinet into place.
Install the second cabinet beside the first, and then screw the cabinets together.
Place the countertop on top of the cabinets so there is a 1 1/2-inch overhang above the doors. Use 1 5/8-inch screws to attach the top of the cabinets to the bottom of the countertop.
