Keyless deadbolt locks, biometric fingerprint locks and remote control locks are types of keyless door locks. Electronic locks, such as those that accept magnetic cards, are another type of keyless lock.
Keyless deadbolt locks feature a numeric keypad. To open the lock, the user must enter the correct passcode. Many locks in this category also have a keyhole.
Biometric fingerprint locks contain a fingerprint scanner and only open when the scanner detects an approved fingerprint. Some models, such as the 1Touch IQ2, also allow authorized users to view the lock's activity history.
Remote control locks are linked to remote control keychain fobs. This type of lock also appears on many automobile models.
