Haynes is a Virginia-based furniture retailer that does not make any products, but it owns The Dump chain of furniture stores and some of the Haynes buyers also purchase inventory for The Dump. Both stores sell a full line of home furnishings including bedroom, living room and dining room furniture.
The Dump focuses on no-frills discount furniture sales. Its inventory primarily consists of closeouts, overstocks, one-of-a-kinds, design samples and cancelled orders. The Dump further increases its ability to deeply discount prices by not having fancy showrooms and only being open three days a week to cut overhead.
The Dump stocks a large selection of couches, sleeper sofas, recliners, occasional tables and rugs for living areas. China cabinets, hutches, dining tables, martini bars and wine storage are some of the available dining area items. Bedroom products include individual beds, mattresses and furniture pieces to complete multi-piece sets. The Dump also carries a large selection of home office and home theater furniture as well as home accents, including decorative mirrors, lamps, throw pillows and assorted poufs.
The company has an online store and 11 warehouse stores across the country, as of 2015. It claims to be America's number one furniture, mattress and rug outlet.
