Menards does not sell dedicated garage heaters that come with, or are compatible with, remote controls as of 2015. They do, however, sell other types of heaters that come with remote controls.
Menards sells many different types of air heaters, some specifically for outdoor or garage use, and some intended for indoor use. Their outdoor heaters are typically fuelled by kerosene or propane, whereas the indoor portable heaters are run by electricity. The latter is the only type that sells with a remote control, and no remote controls are available to buy separately. Of the electric indoor heaters, almost all sell with a remote control.
This is similar to other retailers. Home Depot and Walmart, for example, sell many different electric heaters that come with remote controls, but none of their heaters specified for garage use do. This is likely due to the nature of the heaters; a remote control would require electricity to function, and garage heaters rely on gas rather than electricity.
Portable electric heaters can be used in garages, providing there is a suitable electrical outlet and all safety guidelines of the specific heater are being followed. In this case, and only this case, is it possible to have a garage heater with a remote control.
