Tips for using brick paver sealing include using water-based sealers instead of solvent-based sealers and spraying the sealer instead of rolling out the sealer. Use urethane/acrylic hybrid sealers instead of pure acrylic sealers.
Choose a week when rain is not in the weather forecast, as sealing takes two to three days. Clean the surface thoroughly to remove mold, algae or mildew. Remove excess sand, dirt and fine powder with a pressure washer, and let it dry for at least 48 hours. Patch holes or cracks in the brick with a concrete patch, and let it dry completely. Spray the first coat of sealer starting from the farthest corner of the floor or the bottom of the wall. Let it dry for eight hours. Apply a thin second coat, and let it dry for at least two hours.
