Trash collection in the Prince George's county in Maryland takes place between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. on scheduled collection days. Residents should leave their trash containers at the front curb no later than 6 a.m. on the scheduled collection day in their area.
Residents of Prince George's county must put their trash in permanent metal containers, heavy-duty plastic containers or heavy-duty plastic bags. They can use as many containers as they need, but each container cannot weigh more than 60 pounds. Trash collection does not occur on public holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
