Styles of replacement window muntins include bungalow, colonial, diamond, gothic and renaissance. Window muntins, which are the bars of wood or metal that hold glass panes in windows, also come in styles such as Queen Anne, sunburst and wagon wheel.
Muntins are usually seen in western styles of architecture. They divide window sashes or casements into a grid system of glass panes called lights.
The diagonal window muntin style features bars that divide the panes of glass into diamonds, and the colonial window muntin style features six standard panels of glass. The Queen Anne muntin has four rectangles bordering a large middle pane of glass.
