Walmart and JCPenney are two stores that typically sell daybeds on clearance. As of 2015, there are several daybeds at these stores that are discounted by up to 50 percent. While some of these beds are available for purchase in-store, most are only available online.
JCPenney sells discounted daybeds in a number of styles, including traditional wood beds and contemporary metal frames. Many of these beds also have an option for a trundle bed, while others feature drawers for storage. These daybeds are typically priced at anywhere from $500 to over $2,000, but with discounted prices, some are as little as $350.
At about $100 to $700, Walmart's daybeds are typically priced lower than JCPenney's daybeds. However, Walmart offers a smaller selection of discounted beds. Daybeds on clearance are sometimes available at less than $100.
Many other home decor and furniture stores also sell several varieties of daybeds, including Crate & Barrel, West Elm and Pottery Barn. These beds are priced as low as $500 and may exceed $2,000 at full price. While these stores do not always offer daybeds at discounted prices, they sometimes run special deals on select beds. These stores also sometimes offer annual sales on all beds at some point during the year, making prices on daybeds much lower than normal.
