Brands that make small kitchen ranges include Premier, Hot Point, General Electric, Summit and Blue Star. Since the standard size for ranges is 30 inches, 24-inch ranges are considered small.
As of 2015, customers of the appliance retailer AJ Madison rate the GE 24-inch range well. The 24-inch freestanding range includes four radiant elements and a self-cleaning oven with 3 cubic feet of capacity. The Premier ECK3XOB model is similar except its oven needs to be manually cleaned. The Premier model includes a 1.5-inch vent rail for cooking odors.
Hotpoint makes a white electric range that stands 24 inches. The range features coils that lift for ease of cleaning. The Blue Star Companion Series 24-inch model features burners with 22,000 BTUs of power. This model includes a convection oven and interior with 3.5 cubic feet of capacity.
The Summit Pro24G is a 24-inch freestanding gas range. The broiler is waist high for ease of access. The range grates are also continuous rather than self-contained. Summit also makes a 24-inch Professional Series model that includes towel bar handles and a storage drawer. Premier makes a Pro Series that is styled similarly to commercial models with continuous cast iron grates and a drop door broiler.
The GE Quick Clean range, among other GE models, is compliant with the American with Disabilities Act.
