The Sears Home Services chat tool enables users to exchange text communication with a live Sears representative in a Web browser window. The chat provides many of the same customer support services available by telephone, including general product information, assembly and installation help, warranty support, and maintenance tips.
Users can access the chat tool by clicking Chat Now near the top of SearsHomeServices.com. The chat tool opens in a separate browser window. A representative is usually ready to chat within seconds. After a chat is complete, the user can choose to print a transcript of the chat or send the transcript to an email address for later reference.
