Parts that are replaced by Sharp or its agreed representative are covered under the Sharp appliance warranty. However, there are several limits to the cover, as of 2015.
A Sharp appliance warranty is valid for 12 months after purchase. It is only valid for the person who originally purchased the appliance. Additionally, if any replacements are required due to poor care, overuse or modifications made by the owner, the warranty is no longer valid. Where it is valid, the replacement parts are covered until either the end of the warranty period or for a period of 90 days, whichever is longer.
