When replacing a shower arm, users should ensure the new one is compatible with their shower head.
The first step is to unscrew the existing arm. This is done by turning the arm until it comes free.
To get the new arm ready, wrap thread seal tape over the threads two to three times. After wrapping it, turn the arm until it is securely attached to the wall fitting.
After the arm is in place, completely fill any spots or holes with putty.
