As of March 2015, you can repair a GE Monogram microwave by scheduling a service through the GE Appliances website. Repair instructions vary depending on the issue and the machine model.
Visit the GE Appliances home page, and click on Support. From the drop-down menu that appears, click Service & Repair. Click Schedule Service Online to schedule an in-home service appointment. Appointments can also be scheduled over the phone by calling 1-800-432-2737.
Some issues with GE Monogram microwaves can be solved by troubleshooting. If the machine does not turn on, this might be due to a blown fuse or a switch that was turned off on the circuit breaker. Turn on the switch if necessary. If the fuse is blown, replace it. Another solution is to unplug the microwave and plug it back in. If the word "locked" appears on the display, the control panel is locked. Pressing the Clear/Off button for about three seconds unlocks the control panel.
The sensor reheat function, which is available on certain models, does not work for large amounts of food. Select the Time Cook mode instead. If the door is opened or the cooking was paused when using the sensor reheat function, the phrase "sensor error" may appear on the display. Closing the door and pressing the Start button clears the error.
