Full Answer

There are two main types of faucet handle connections on Price Pfister faucets: a handle screw in the body of the faucet and a hex screw underneath the faucet. To determine which type you have, check to see if your faucet has a Hot/Cold indicator at the top of the faucet. If the indicator is present, the faucet is a handle screw type.

To remove the handle on a handle screw type, turn off the water supply, close the stopper drain and use the flat bladed screwdriver to remove the Hot/Cold indicator on top of the faucet. Then, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw and lift the handle straight off.

To remove the handle on a hex screw type, turn off the water supply, close the stopper drain and use a hex wrench to remove the screw on the underside of the faucet. Then remove the handle by lifting it straight off.
