For Whole Rice Cooker Chicken, cut two onions in half, and place the pieces in bottom of the inner cooking pot of the machine. Cut a lemon in half, and place it, along with 2 sprigs of rosemary in the cavity of the chicken. Coat the skin of the chicken with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and place it on top of the onion. Start the cooker using the white rice cycle, and cook the chicken until the machine switches to the warming cycle. If the chicken is not done, start the cooking cycle a second time.
Prepare Traditional Humus by soaking 2 cups of garbanzo beans in 6 cups of water for 8 or more hours. Drain and rinse the beans, and place them in the rice cooker. Add enough water to cover the beans by 2 inches, and start the device on the white rice cycle. The beans are done when the unit turns itself to warm. Place the cooked beans along with 1 tablespoon tahini, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon each of coriander and cumin, two garlic cloves and 1/4 cup of lemon juice in a food processor, and pulse until the humus is smooth.
