As of 2015, all parts in a Proctor Silex blender are covered under its warranty, with the exception of any glass components or filters. Proctor Silex offers the same standard one-year limited parts and replacement warranty on the majority of its blenders.
This warranty states the Proctor Silex must cover the costs of any repairs or replacements necessary to fix a defect in workmanship or materials that occurs within one year from the date of purchase. In order to obtain warranty service, it is first necessary to report the problem online through the company's website or by calling 1-800-851-8900. When filing a warranty claim, the customer must provide the model number, type and series number of their blender.
After filing a claim, it is then the customer's responsibility to pay for the costs of shipping both the damaged blender and the replacement unit or component to Proctor Silex, as the company is only liable for the cost of the parts under the terms of the warranty. If the company is unable to supply an exact replacement component or unit, they must replace it with a similar unit of equal or greater value.
The warranty is only valid for the original customer and does not cover any damage or wear that results from normal use.
