National Presto Industries, Inc. manufactures Presto kitchen appliances in Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Jackson, Mississippi; and Alamogordo, New Mexico. As of 2015, the Presto product line includes pressure cookers and canners, electric appliances, utensils and accessories.

National Presto Industries, Inc. began in 1905 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Originally called Northwestern Steel and Iron Works, Presto manufactured pressure canners for commercial and residential use. The company introduced its first electric appliance, a vapor steam iron, in 1949. Since then Presto continues to develop and expand its line of housewares and portable, electric appliances.
