To pressure wash a house, obtain a pressure washer, place a cleaning solution inside it, and run it on a low setting. Stand at least 2 feet away from the house, and rinse the entire house with water only. Spray the entire house with the washing solution, and rinse.
- Obtain a pressure washer
Buy, borrow or rent a power washer. In most cases, an electric pressure washer works well, but for a two-story house, a high-power gas pressure washer is recommended.
- Select a cleaning solution
Choose the right cleaning solution for the job. Use a product that is designed for power washers, and never use a bleach-based product. Using bleach, or bleach solutions, can damage the machine.
- Spray the house with water
Spray the entire house with water. Use the sprayer to remove spider webs, wasp nests and other debris.
- Spray the house with solution
Once the house is completely dry, spray it again, but this time using the solution. Spray from the bottom of the house to the top. Allow the solution to sit on the house for at least 10 minutes.
- Rinse the house
Rinse the house with fresh water to remove the solution and any remaining dirt and debris.
