MTD Products owns Troy-Bilt. MTD purchased Garden Way in 2001, and this purchase included the Troy-Bilt brand. Troy-Bilt has its headquarters in Valley, City, Ohio, and has manufacturing plants in Ohio, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee.
