To organize your bedroom with plastic stackable storage bins, use each bin for a certain type of item, label the bins and stack the bins according to how often you need to access them. Measure the storage areas of your bedroom before getting the storage bins to ensure that the bins are the correct sizes.
Assigning one type of item to each bin keeps them organized, and labeling them makes it easy to find everything. For convenience, place the bins with your most-used items on top of each stack at about eye level. Put bins with less-used items below them, and put the bins with the items you use the least at the bottom of each stack. Other locations for bins with rarely-used items include at the top of a closet or beneath the bed.
If you have a walk-in closet, place bins on the sides, and keep space available in the center. This allows you to use the closet as a dressing room.
If you don't have a home office, dedicate a section of the bedroom for that purpose. Set up a desk and storage bins with your paperwork and office supplies.
To stay organized, go through the contents of your bins every month, and get rid of items you no longer use. Another option is dedicating one bin towards unused items, and placing these items into the bin as you find them.
