Bock does not have a specific model that is new, but the 32E model exceeds the newest guidelines to be announced by the U.S. Department of Energy in 2015. Its line of oil-fired water heaters come in four different capacities.
As of 2015, Bock's most recent models of oil heaters have capacities ranging from 20 to 270 gallons. The U.S. Department of Energy set standards for commercial water heating equipment in 2003 and continues to set new standards for energy efficiency as technology advances. All water heater manufacturers and distributors must adhere to the U.S. Department of Energy's minimal thermal efficiency and maximum stand-by loss of energy. Water heaters over 140 gallons have no limitations regarding the maximum stand-by loss of energy.
