The Coleman 40-Quart PowerChill Thermoelectric Cooler fits 44 cans plus snacks. Coleman offers two variations of the 40-quart cooler. One version acts as a cooler, and the second version doubles as both a cooler and warming device.
The iceless cooler comes with a power cord that plugs directly into a 12-volt vehicle outlet or a 110-volt home outlet using a separate adapter. It chills the contents to 40 degrees Fahrenheit below the external temperature and is suitable and convenient for use in RVs, campers, cars, offices and dorm rooms. It works as a horizontal chest or an upright unit and has a shelf which can be used in either position. The convertible door opens from both the right or left side for added convenience.
The Coleman 40-Quart PowerChill Hot/Cold Thermoelectric Cooler offers the same features as the original model, with the additional ability to heat the contents up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit above the exterior temperature. The measurements of the two models are slightly different. The exterior dimensions of the cooler model are 21.75 by 15 by 17.13 inches, while the hot/cold unit is 23.5 by 15.25 by 17 inches. The internal measurements of the hot/cold unit are 15 by 9.75 by 12.75 inches. Both models are made in the United States with foreign components.
