The L105 also produced in 2003 had a 14-horsepower engine and a 42-inch deck. The L130 produced from 2003 to 2005 had the largest of the L series engines at 23 horsepower with a 48-inch deck.
Production of the L100 series models ended in 2005; they were replaced by the LA series of lawn tractors in 2007. Production of the LA100 series ended in 2010. John Deere began production of a D100 series of lawn tractors in 2000; this series is projected to continue in production through at least 2016.
