Samsung manufactures two lines of dishwashers and seven models total. Four of these models have Saumsung's trademarked WaterWall system, and two have a traditional rotary system. The WaterWall system appears in the pricier models such as the DW80H9950US top control cishwasher. The rotary system appears in the less expensive models.
Samsung's WaterWall line of dishwashers includes the DW80H9970US top control chef collection dishwasher with WaterWall technology, the DW80H9950US top control dishwasher with WaterWall technology, the DW80H9940US top control dishwasher with WaterWall technology, and the DW80H9930US top control dishwasher with WaterWall technology.
The Samsung dishwashers that do not have the proprietary WaterWall technology are the DW80F800UWS top control dishwasher with stainless steel tub, the DW80F600UTS top control dishwasher with stainless steel tub, and the DW7933LRASR/AA 24-inch dishwasher.
Aside from their delivery systems, the biggest difference between the two lines is cost. The WaterWall models range from $1,199 to $1,599, while the others range from $649 to $799.
However, even the least expensive of Samsung's dishwashers contains hard-food disposal, adjustable racks and exceptional energy efficiency, as noted by its Energy Star 2012 award status. Its more affordable counterparts also share the same status and also come equipped with a stainless steel tub.
