To make your own grease solvent, with baking soda and lemon essential oil, pour 2 cups of warm water into a spray bobble, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 20 drops of lemon essential oil to the bottle, and mix everything together by shaking. Alternatively, use some lemon juice instead of essential oil.
To make a different grease solvent using orange oil, pour 4 ounces of baking soda and 2 ounces of Castile soap in a container, mix everything together, and add 20-25 drops of orange oil to the mixture once it becomes paste-like.
To make natural soap, pour 1 cup of water into a pan, add 2 or 3 soap nuts, and boil everything for about 30 minutes. Remove all the solid pieces by straining the water. Take 1/2 cup of the mixture, add 1 1/2 cups of baking soda, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 2 to 4 drops of a citrus essential oil, and mix everything together. Add a little bit of water at a time if needed to make a thick paste that you can spread on a surface.
It is also possible to use distilled vinegar to remove grease from surfaces. To make a grease solvent, add 4 parts water to 1 part vinegar, and mix them together. To make a grease solvent using ammonia, obtain an empty dish soap bottle, pour ammonia into the bottle until it is half way full, add several drops of natural Castile soap, and top the mixture with hot water. Shake the bottle.
