LG employs the same "Green Product Strategy" for all of its makes and models of appliances. This company-wide model is broken up into three sections of product efficiency: Energy, Resources and Human.
The three segments of LG's Green Product Strategy are intended to ensure eco-friendly products and manufacturing throughout the production process. The Energy segment is two-tiered and places significant emphasis on enhancing product energy efficiency as well as limiting greenhouse gases and other environmentally detrimental side effects to manufacturing.
The Resources segment of the strategy focuses on the ability to use recycled products to limit the resources required in production. The Human element is intended to reduce heavy metals, hazardous materials and noisy products to make the LG experience as positive as possible for the end user.
