Landscape rendering is the process of using a program to design a landscape on a computer that is specific to the size and shape of an area. A landscape rendering includes details about specific plants, such as color and size.
A landscape rendering shows the direction of branches and the way plant stems bend or spread. Most programs allow basic leaf shapes and sizes for each tree to be chosen. A landscape rendering also includes general ideas about gravel pathways and which types of mulch, seating and fountains to use. The designer needs the basic color and shape but not necessarily the details.
